Shop Talk: Pearls
Pearls deserve a little intention—here’s how to keep them glowing with their signature luster.
Pearls worn often should be checked regularly; we recommend once a year. By “checked,” we mean having them professionally inspected and, if needed, re-strung. Because pearls are traditionally strung on silk, routine care helps preserve both their beauty and durability.
To protect their natural sheen, put your pearls on last, just before heading out, and remove them as soon as you return home. This simple habit helps maintain their luster and integrity.
In short, pearls are meant to be adored and to adorn. With thoughtful care and annual checkups, they remain the heirloom-worthy pieces they’re meant to be.
