The Palmetto Bug is often an unwelcome guest in Charleston, South Carolina. Taking inspiration from their entomological forms and the short story “The Gold-Bug” by Edgar Allen Poe, Mini has gilded these insects, elevating them into an art form often worn with pride.

What began with the iconic gilded palmetto bug has grown into a full collection — bracelets, earrings, studs, and statement pieces alongside engravable pendants, birthstone jewelry, and much more, all rooted in the spirit of the Lowcountry.
