From our estate and antique collection, this is a vintage amateur boxing medal fob pendant in sterling silver. It features a center relief of two boxers sparring inside a classical Greek or Roman-style architectural frame with 2nd Prize engraved across the top and '36 engraved in a shield below. The back of the pendant is hand-engraved B . Pk . D ., which stands for Boston Park Department. This was a 2nd-place boxing prize awarded by the Boston Park Department during their 1936 city athletic programs. The pendant has a maker's mark stamp 'Dorrety Sterling Boston', which was a notable Boston-based manufacturer of custom medals.
